Shout out to Fantau who got me a job at Eastern Edge all those years ago. Matt would visit the shop and noticed a then 15-year-old me most likely wearing an oversized sweatshirt behind the counter. 

Fast forward to 2013, I was out for a friend's birthday and ran into Matt in the line to the bathroom. Ah, romance. We exchanged numbers and made a plan to catch up over a beer and a game of ring-toss later that week.

Matt hired me to do the branding and website for his production company and so began the chapter we lovingly call 'The Long Con'. He emailed me more than any client should and would find reasons to 'tweak' designs so we could chat longer. We became fast friends and before we knew it, three years had passed and we fell in love somewhere along the way.

We made it official one day in the Fall of 2015 (neither of us can remember the date). Matt threw me right into a house remodel with no heat and plywood countertops. We cooked all our meals outside on a camp stove and took our first road trip that winter to Lake Tahoe where, 5 years later he'd get down on his knee and ask me to be his wife.
